Years ago, Anthony was experimenting raw cacao, and eventually taught himself how to make chocolate. Meanwhile, Michael was experimenting with raw chocolate in London. When he returned to Cape Town, he joined forces with Anthony.
Originally Honest Chocolate was working with raw cacao from Ecuador, but eventually switched over to Kokoa Kamili Tanzanian cacao beans to source other fantastic cacao closer to home.
They have a range of dark chocolates, as well as “mylk” chocolates (plant-based milk chocolate bars) as well as a line of other fantastic products including spreads and snacks.
If you are in Cape Town, you can even visit their beautiful café. They incorporate their chocolate into an array of delicious pastries and baked goods!
