Bean To Bar Making - General Trouble Shooting
Great for beginners who already know how to make chocolate or have attempted it, but need to troubleshoot one or more various aspects (roasting, refining time, selecting cacao, faults in your chocolate) then this booking is perfect. Click below to learn more.
+ What's Covered?
This is open ended. Whatever issues in the way of chocolate making you are having, we can cover it here. If you feel you don't need a whole overview of the process, then this session can work. If you have already started trying to make your own chocolate, but have some "holes" in your knowledge or skillset, this session is for you.
Please gather which topics you wish to cover and any problems you are having. If you have pictures of some of your issues, let me know when you fill out the form and you can send them to me before our session so I may try and diagnose your issues.
+ How Long Should I Book?
It's really up to you and how many issues/questions you wish to address. If you're unsure, please contact me and I'll let you know, or you can just book what you think would be appropriate and we can go from there.
+ Is this lesson Q&A or a guided real-time lesson?
You will decide in the reservation, can even be a mix of both Q&A and guided. Usually it is used as a Q&A, but some people refer to have a live guided session where they begin refining, sort and roast beans, etc.
+ What Equipment Do I require?
If this is just a Q&A, then you don't require any equipment. If you want to get an idea of what sorts of equipment you may need, check out my chocolate making 101 page. Don't worry, you won't need everything listed, but it just offers you options. We can discuss what you need, and what you can use that you may already have.
+ Is This Good For Beginners?
Yes. This is also useful for intermediates who are running into a specific issue and wish to receive some help on it.
