Our experience in chocolate tasting with Geoseph is above and beyond our expectations and very beginner friendly to get good guidance while tasting. We learned a lot about chocolate and some scientific perspectives about chocolate. Geoseph made the tasting session very special and informative. We would like to learn more. Thank you so much! It was really fun and highly recommended to everyone to get together and taste the different flavours of chocolates.

This was a wonderful chocolate tasting experience! Geoseph was incredibly well prepared, and our client greatly appreciated how knowledgeable, engaging, and approachable he was throughout the session. The tasting was both fun and educational, and attendees thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend Science of Chocolate for a unique and memorable event activity.

I love the selection that Geoseph curates because the chocolate bars are often hard-to-find makers in the US and smaller chocolate makers are featured, which I would not otherwise have heard of. I come across so many interesting cultural flavors and micro-chocolate makers who are amazing at plain single origin bars. I also like to check in to see new makers every so often. And as always, I received my order quickly!

Thank Geoseph, the Surprise Me! selection was excellent and matches my palette well -- deep dark quality craft chocolate, I was indeed surprised! I'm so glad you took the time to offer this!

About 2 weeks prior to writing this review, I happened to stumble on The Science of Chocolates website. And I can safely say that it was a sweet moment, pun intended. My goal was to find great chocolate, in terms of originality, uniqueness and quality, to send to my parents, 4 provinces away. Geoseph was keen to ensure that I had the correct products for my parents, once I made my order, which to me, was added value from his knowledge of the product and his customer base. When my parents received the parcel, they raved at the meticulous packaging that allowed the chocolates to be delivered without any damaging or melting. Lastly, they were blown-away by the quality of the chocolates themselves. This is no empty promise in me saying this that I will be ordering from Geoseph again in the near future.

It’s a pleasure to shop this online store and support its wonderful business! I appreciate the care and attention that goes into the packaging and speedy delivery. Craft chocolate is a treat and the experience begins when opening a package from Science of Chocolate. Geoseph’s curation of chocolate in his shop is fantastic and giving Canadian chocolate makers their spotlight is solid.

Geoseph was a supportive and knowledgeable tutor! He took the time to understand our issues and walked us through each step of our production process to identify areas for improvement. He also provided additional resources to help us. We would highly recommend to other aspiring chocolatiers.

I have ordered from Science of Chocolate a few times, including back when it was called Bean to Bar World. The Website is easy to navigate. Ordering is easy. Shipping is fast (I live in BC). There is a good selection of bars. I have contacted Geoseph a couple times to share thoughts about the bars and he's always been enthusiastic to talk chocolate and give recommendations. Highly recommend this shop.

We did a History of Chocolate session for our work holiday party. We are a remote team working in different places so this was a really nice opportunity to do a shared activity and learn a little something about the history of chocolate at the same time. It was delightful and I can't recommend it enough!

What a treat! The Science of Chocolate hosted a truffle-making and chocolate tasting webinar for our guests, and it was so much fun! The session was interactive, the truffles were easy to make, and they turned out fantastic. Can’t wait to make them again at home! If you love chocolate, you’ll love this experience.
