Maker Origin: Ruvido is based in Trezzo sull’Adda, Italy just East of Milano. They have a unique and unorthodox method and approach which pushes the boundaries of fine chocolate today.

Made with a Trinitario cacao grown in the foothills of the Rwenzori mountain range in Uganda. Over 5000 smallholder farmers grow cacao in the area on half to three acres of land - for which cacao is their primary source of income. Farmers receive 10-30% above local market rates, paid in cash, and receive training in organic agronomy and financial literacy.

Ingredients: Cacao Beans, Raw Cane Sugar.

Suggested Flavour Notes: Black Cherry, Custard.

Texture: Ruvido has a unique approach resulting in a texture that is rough and wild, so don’t expect a traditional silky smooth chocolate. It truly is an experience.
