A-Typica Chocolate Maker from France/Martinique Now Available

 

I’m proud to now be carrying bars from French based chocoalte maker, A-Typica. Astrid is originally from the Caribbean island of Martinique. She showcases lovely bars made with cacao from the Caribbean area such as her home country of Martinique, Jamaica, Grenada, and St. Vincent.

Cacao is sourced from farms who grow and process cacao through ethical means. Even the cane sugar used is from Martinique.

The Martinique bar is a beautiful warm comforting profile of gingerbread, woody, roasted nuts, and other comforting flavours. I also particularly love the Indian wood leaf (Pimenta Racemosa - AKA bay leaf). But any bar you choose will have a strong present flavour profile. Check out her bars in the online shop! Her single-origin bars do not even contain cocoa butter - real 2 ingredient chocolate with cocoa bean and cane sugar. A great example of skillful craftsmanship.
